This time I will work on an shimpaku which is an imported material and belongs to a private collection.
Main objectives are:
- Wood Carving.
- Defining the live vein.
- Setting up the basic structure.
The height is 30 cm more or less so it will be necessary adjust the size a bit.
Thank God all sacrifice branches come peeled and ready to carve.
They are a bit long, or better I should say, pretty long.
Hours later, I have a first approximation to objectives 1 and 2.
The following picture shows the state before primary branches placing.
After several hours, the object number 3 is achieved.
The main handicap when placing the canopy has been the too immature leaf.
Due to the lack of compaction, practically it was not possible to touch it to avoid damage.
However the main branches has been placed.
It is the time to give a good cultivation, plenty of sunshine, water and fertilizer to get leaves well compacted.
I believe that in two years it will be possible to work it in order to define more.
